When you started homeschooling, you made a major commitment to the education of your child, and we commend you for being willing to do that. While you are likely doing a fine job, there might possibly be some areas where a little extra help would be beneficial.

As a homeschooler, you have a very positive emotional and time investment in the complete education of your child. Because of that closeness and total immersion into your child's educational life, it might be difficult for you to sense some serious issues that could be occurring.

These issues could range from mild forms of dyslexia to an increasing addiction to drugs, either prescription or illegal. Often someone who has a more objective view of a student is able to sense or identify those kinds of problems.
